As a parent of a five-year-old who starts pre-primary this year I wanted to offer my services to join the board and help set this school up for success right from day one! I am also the father of a two-year old who will follow her brother through Sheoak Grove Primary School. We will have kids at Sheoak Grove for the next ten years and therefore it is in our best interests to pull our socks up and get our hands dirty!
I was born overseas, and English is not my first language, however I believe that a diverse board is a healthy board!
I am an electronic engineer and as part of my day-job I do problem-solving and work on improving the efficiency of processes.
I believe in sustainability, community and connectedness. I love the outdoors, the ocean and I love Baldivis! For the past three years I have served on the Young Engineers Australia WA Strategic Committee, and I was also a member of the steering committee for Sheoak Grove Primary School. In my time off I like to play cricket, fish, or be on the beach.
As parents we want our kids to become the best versions of themselves and I feel the best way to accomplish that is to get involved and help wherever there is a need.
