I nominated for the school board because I want to be actively involved in the decision making process and make a positive impact on our our new school. I have been involved in the steering committee since it started and I enjoy working in a team for the benefit of the school community. I have two children starting at Sheoak Grove in 2020 (kindy and year 1) and I will be a strong advocate for students and families attending the school.
I have been working at Murdoch University for over 12 years and have a passion for teaching and ensuring the students get the most out of their learning experience. I was on the committee of a local playgroup for four years. During this time, I was vice president for 18 months and treasurer for two and a half years. I am very enthusiastic about seeing our new school grow and succeed.
